The earth is changing. Our way of life is dependent upon the planet's health and our everyday actions affect its balance. We need a long term plan to climate proof our state.

While it is vital to plan for the future, progress must protect the earth's wellbeing and find creative solutions for the way forward.

ClimateProof policies are strategies for securing Queensland's future with climate responsible development and infrastructure. We must adapt to the earth's changes and take a proactive approach to creating sustainable and practical solutions for every Queensland region.

We are proud to launch our first ClimateProof policy - the South-East Queensland Water Policy. This will be the first of a series to address our vision of climate proofing Queensland by establishing non-climate dependant sources of water and renewable energy such as geo-thermal, solar, wind and tidal. These resources are vital and will continue to support our state well into the future as together, we'll build a better Queensland.
